The Luxembourg Charity Banjo is entirely one-of-a-kind, made with a Honey Amber neck with the shape and name of Luxembourg boldly on the peghead. Bringing to life the flag of Luxembourg with the inlays going down the neck in the National colors of Luxembourg. Red, white and light blue!
The drum head of the banjo is custom made by Remo with the Delta Tour Wings Logo and personally signed by Mumford & Sons.
Based on the Deering Artisan Goodtime Two this banjo has a resonator back for projection, and a violin grade maple rim that gives it a bright and clear tone. Designed and built by Deering Banjos at their factory in Spring Valley, California specifically for this auction.

The Charity this auction will benefit is Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner . For 30 years, the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner supports children suffering from cancer or another rare and life-threatening disease as well as their families. Every year, around 200 families benefit from their multi-disciplinary team that offers individual support from the diagnosis to the child's remission including administrative and financial service, psychological and social support, educational and recreational activities. The foundation also undertakes awareness campaigns and helps to improve the condition of the sick child. Finally, the foundation also actively supports pediatric oncology research with one goal: cure better and cure more children. The Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner is financed exclusively through the generosity of the general public and undergoes an external audit every year as well as the requirements of Don en Confiance Luxembourg (www.donenconfiance.lu).
