We're glad to feature Enda Scahill from We Banjo 3 on Deering Live this Thursday, Oct. 6th at 4pm ET/1am PT. Enda is a fantastic Irish tenor banjo player and offers a great series of lessons on playing the Irish tenor banjo on his Patreon page.
Below you can see one of the lesson Enda offers where he talks demonstrates how he approaches crosspicking on the tenor banjo.
Thanks for finally having a four-string banjo demonstration since so many of your videos are for five string. I play the tenor exclusively. I agree with the above comment that he played too quickly and it would’ve been very beneficial to slow down his right hand. Plus I could only understand maybe 25% of what he was saying not so much because of his accent, but because his voice faded in and out, and at times was soft, too soft to hear. It also looks like he was playing a Pete Seeger type Banjo with a long neck and I always thought tenor banjos for Irish music were 17 or 19 frets, and this looks much larger.

Just too fast for me to get it. Slow the right hand down. Sorry.
