This is the 3rd one I've fitted to dull sounding banjos. Really brings out the brightness, especially if you play without finger picks. Try 'em, you'll like 'em!

I'm not a big fan of the poured channel but this one installed with no problems. Nice clear, powerful tone. Set it @ 90. We'll see how it stands the test of time. I would be pleased to use Deering head again.

I put this on an open-backed tenor banjo so you can see right through. It looks fantastic! SOOO much cooler than the frosted white. This and switching to lighter strings really mellowed out the sound.

It sounds really good. I put it on a Boston pot. I have a decal on the inside of my resonator. So now I can see it. This finished off my banjo project.

I was hoping it would look cool but was nervous I'd lose something in sound... BUT it looks even cooler than I hoped it would and I think it sounds way better than the top frosted head it replaced. Big time double win. I love it.
