This is a replacement case handle. There are two different handles. One parallel, and the other has a perpendicular loop that straps to your case. Please refer to your current case to pick out the appropriate handle.

Pictured first is the Parallel Handle. The second picture is the associated Deering Traditional Hardshell Case.

Pictured third is the Perpendicular Handle. The fourth picture is the associated Deering Traditional Hardshell Case.

Does not include mounting hardware.

Excellent banjo case handle

Excellent quality. Replaced very similar handle on Gibson banjo case. Was a little tricky to install, but I figured it out.

Banjo case handle is well made and reinforced with steel to handle the weight of a resonator banjo.

More of a loop than a handle

This was to replace the handle on my 48-year-old hardshell acoustic guitar case. Unfortunately, the product is more of a loop than a handle. I cannot fit all my fingers inside. On the positive side, it seems well-made and should last a long time. The case is in storage and I use a gig bag with the guitar, which is why I didn’t return the product.

Banjo Handle

Good product. Becomes expensive when ordering from the U.S. The shipping cost is why I don't order much from Deering. I recently ordered a hat but that turned out fairly expensive as well. I would order T-sirts ,strings perhaps a sweater and other things, but shipping makes it restrictive.

Q: Will either of these handles work on a Gibson banjo case? The perpendicular handle looks similar to my original handle. It's hard to tell how it is installed. Can you please advise?

A: Please look at the hardware on your case to determine which one of these to install. They will work on any case but you need to see which way the opening ison your existing hinge. They both buckle into place through the hardware.
