National Finger Picks

Heavier than my picks but now that I’ve played for a while , I like em.
And I Like the brightness that they inspire and the accuracy . They deliver

In addition to picking with the regular (underside) part of these finger picks, I do a lot of strumming with the backs of the picks and National picks are better than any others I've used (Dunlops, etc.) for this because they do not snag on the strings and fly off! These are wonderful.

Like a few other reviews the thumb picks were small and became uncomfortable after a few minutes of wearing it. I lit a candle and by passing the pick (it’s plastic) a few times over the flame and then placing it on my thumb the pick “relaxed” and is now very comfortable.

Enjoying these picks which are very comfortable and stay in place without pinching my fingers.

I’ve used other picks over the years, but have alway favored Nationals for durability, comfort, and consistency. Other than stepping on them, they hold their shape even when jammed into my jean’s pockets.

I find the nationals to have a slightly brighter and crisper tone compared to propiks, although propiks have a slightly meatier and richer sound with more body. Depending on my mood, I switch between the two and would highly recommend purchasing a set of both from the deering website.

Just started learning banjo and was playing without picks. Bought these and they work great. I shaved the plastic thumb pick to a more suitable size and it performs great on banjo and guitar. The finger picks fit well without twisting and produce a nice clear tone. Great service and quick shipping from Deering. Highly recommended!
