THIS AUCTION HAS ENDED. WINNING BID WAS $2,010
The Kevin Nealon Giving Tuesday Charity Banjo is entirely one-of-a-kind, with the maple wood stained Oxblood Red and the metal parts finished in Oxblood Red Powder Finish. In the peghead “FIREBALL” is burned in among scroll artwork. This is Kevin’s Giving Tuesday Charity Banjo.
The drumhead of the banjo has been personally signed by Kevin Nealon, with a hand drawn heart and the quote “Harness the good, block the bad” – from his character Gary Potter (Psycho) in the movie Happy Gilmore.
The charity Kevin chose for this auction to benefit is Hope Hospice who have the mission to improve the quality of life for every person experiencing serious illness by providing exceptional, comforting care and choices that give hope and meaning to every moment. In 40 years, Hope has turned no one away due to an inability to pay for care. The belief that every life matters, that no one should die alone, and that everyone deserves dignity are the core of their mission. It is their goal, through generous donor and community support, to raise the funds needed to provide hospice care to those who are most in need. Last year alone, Hope touched 6,000 families in Lee, Hendry and Glades counties, by providing hospice care, while ensuring their familiars have access to grief and loss counseling and support for all ages.
