This U.S.A. crafted Deering Latigo Leather Cradle Strap will support your banjo beautifully.

Crafted with the same quality leather that is depended on for horse saddles, straps, and belts, this luxurious strap features a 2.5" width. It has a high-quality Latigo leather top in the familiar burgundy color that it is known for. The underside is made of a soft garment leather with a foam core padding, offering superior comfort. I bought this to replace a Lakota leather strap that never seemed comfortable. It was pricey compared to other straps but it really is worth it. Comfortable!

I have a the Deering Sierra Mahogany banjo and this strap is perfect for it. Since the banjo is heavy, I needed a strap that would be comfortable as well as match the color and this is absolutely perfect.

Great Strap / Great Service

Wonderful High Quality Strap. I was tentative about purchasing a cradle strap fro my Deering Sierra but Carol in customer service gave me a great explanation about how it distributes the weight. She was right and I am extremely happy with the strap.

I would buy it again just for the smell

Beautiful well made, and comfortable strap. I had to flatten the ends to get them started under the j hooks on my Boston, but it works. The strap is also soft enough to easily fold and fit in the case.

d think could be rather short. I also have the rustic strap where the cradle part is much thicker and probably will last a lifetime, mine at least. So I plan to take the cradle part from the rustic and put on Latigo and thereby feel more secure. So I think that the Deering company should seriously consider making the cradle part thicker and the same quality as the rest of the strap. So zero stars for the cradle part and 5 stars for the padded part. Read Less

A: It might work but if it does not, then you have to keep the strap because it would be damaged. Sorry...try the Eagle Logo, woven or soft leather cradle straps as they will work on your tenor...
