Equipped with a smooth-wearing plastic tip, "The Original" Thumbpick has great tone, requires no break-in, and eliminates that annoying grinding sound ordinary plastic thumb picks are prone to make. The pick is made of Delrin plastic for durability and steel for a flexible fit.

Kinda Nice Picks

I was a bit surprised, pleasantly, that these picks are very light, and very malleable. This means you are slightly less away of having them on, especially because they can quite easily be conformed to the specific shape of your fingers.
So far I like them quite a bit.

Great pics for women!

I got size medium and they fit like they were made for me! They stay on my fingers while playing and the metal “straps” are easily moldable - not too stiff. Will be buying more - some for home and some to keep in my bag.

the ProPik thumb pick is very well made, Construction is high quality.
It's taking some time to get used to. I think the tone is better because of the stiffness, but I also like the flexability of a regular pick (Maybe I'm just used to it). I sometimes shave the regualr pick down to keep it from hitting the banjo head, and the propik is harder...Read More

to do that with, so I have to change my thumb approach (maybe for the better overall?).
The regular propik fits better, but the more expensive one is a specific size, so you can't really adapt it.
The propik will definitely last way longer than the regular National pick I use. Overall- a top quality pick, but may be a small learning curve. Read Less

Q: How do you know what size thumbpick to order, how do you measure?

A: Propik thumb picks tend to run on the big side. If you have an "average" hand, I would order the medium as the thumb pick is adjustable. If you have larger hands, try the size large...there are not many folks who need the large size so I usually say go with the medium, just as a point of information.

A: No...but if you have a very large thumb; I would use the propik thumb pick in size large as it is easily adjustable. They tend to run on the large size.
