Goodtime Chrome Plated Guitar Style Banjo Tuners

High quality, beautiful tuners

I recently purchased a set of Goodtime Chrome Plated Guitar Style Banjo Tuners. They installed easily, look great, and really do the job in holding tune. I wish I had bought these first as I had purchased a cheaper set of tuners on Amazon and they did not do the job.

I had the banjo tuning pegs in my Clareen Special tenor banjo replaced with these Deering guitar style banjo tuners and - great news - they work just fine and are compatible! onvenience of being able to quickly retune the strings when changing keys. 4:1 or even 10:1 banjo style tuners offers no advantage over 16:1 in my view. Plus, I much prefer the look of guitar style tuners over the more traditional banjo tuning pegs. I did have to get a different gig bag due to accommodate the guitar tuners on the headstock, but that was OK because I found a case that better fits a short scale 17-fret tenor banjo rather than a longer one sized to fit a 19 fret tenor. I wanted to change them with the strings I ordered- but the strings didn’t get included in the shipment. Still waiting....

Received the tuners pronto. Installation required some drilling ,as anticipated. These tuners are a big improvement on my old,cheapy Banjo.
