Supple and soft, this 2” black, double-link woven leather cradle strap is made in the USA, with the gold Deering eagle logo design. Banjo players will love the way it safely cradles their banjo and cushions their shoulder during hours of playing.

This strap will fit all Deering, Vega, and Goodtime Series banjos.

Woven Leather strap

This is the second woven

This is the second woven strap I have purchased.
One banjo I have is a Deering Golden Era which I find heavy but the woven strap makes it very comfortable to play.
The most comfortable strap I have found.

Fits my ‘87 intermediate / Boston perfectly. Excellent vibe, great soft leather, fits nicely in the case so I don’t have to remove it unless I want to. 10/10 would buy again.

A: You use the slender cradle ends to run through the hook/rim spacing like belt loops on a pair of slacks. One will start on the right hand side of the rim at about the third hook down from the neck. The other comes up on the right hand side from the tailpiece side to one hook short of the other one. Overlap and tie with the shoe lace included.

A: This is the one we have made for our Goodtime banjo and will fit on banjos that have a tight tolerance between the hooks and the rim. If you have that issue, this will work. It is sturdy enough for a heavy banjo in that it is made of leather.

A: It will fit through the space between the hook and rim but you may find the width a bit wide. You may have to use the shoe strings to make a loop and go around the hooks themselves.
