I’ve been playing hymns, gospel songs, and oldies mostly by reading the melody notes. I’m having limited success adding rolls at appropriate times into the song. If you had one place to start, what might you suggest to get “over the hump”?

I have Sara Taga Star with your Tone Ring. Did you change to 06 ring because of sustain? I love the Cruger Tone Ring. I have GDL, Baucom, walnut deluxe, white Lotus, Cross Fire. Love the Deering neck on all.
