Custom Truss Rod Cover for Deering Calico

Pleased with the quick response and attention to the details of my request.

I know a truss rod cover is not high profit margin item to buy, but I was a tad disappointed that the drill holes in the cover did not match the factory holes in my Calico. I had to extend both holes for it to fit.

Awesome truss Rod cover

Looks great! Replaced a black cover with the Ovangkol cover which usually comes on the Vega Vintage Star. It’s a beautiful looking and sounding banjo! Deering has be great!!

Engraved Truss Rod Cover

The engraved truss rod cover turned out great and didn’t really take very long to receive. I’m very happy with it. I thought it came with extra screws to attach it, but was able to use the existing screws.

Truss rod cover

The service was great. I have doubts about the colour of the cover though. On the website the dark hardwood cover looks darker than the one I received (more like a medium hardwood). Maybe a little varnish will match the colour of the one on the site. Regards.

Pearloid truss rod cover

The mounting holes were slightly differently spaced than the original cover, but I was able to make it work. It looks really nice on my Golden Era though!

A: It would be best to note the age of you Calico on the order; the holes will be in a different spot and we use a separate template for that age of banjo.
