Klaus Luchs


Klaus Luchs is a multi-instrumentalist who began his musical journey on piano at the age of 7.  He later discovered the guitar as a teenager and started writing and performing with local bands. He further pursued his passion by studying classical guitar at Northern Illinois University.  Soon after graduating, he quickly became a well known player for live and studio performance around the Chicago area before moving to Nashville in 2013.  He has a reputation for being highly proficient at a multitude of string instruments and he currently plays banjo and guitar on tour with Big Machine recording artist "Tara Thompson” as well as many other other Nashville artists.  He is also an active producer and songwriter.  He has released solo albums under his own name and he produces/writes for "Marleah and the Leverage" which is a group he started with singer/songwriter Marleah Liddle.  He also writes music for Film and TV with multi-instrumentalist/producer Shay Watson. 

Klaus loves his Deering Eagle II banjo and is always finding new ways to incorporate banjo into other styles besides country and bluegrass
